Manitou is the first alpaca within our stable with the very exciting silky vicuna style of fleece that we first discovered during our US travels and have been breeding for ever since.  His silky fleece exhibits extreme brightness and sublime handle whilst the vicuna component manifests an advanced fleece structure with very high frequency crimp.

Manitou packs a host of genetics into his compact frame combining strong Accoyo based genetics, including Hemingway, Vengador and Accoyocusani via his Sire Snowmass Quetzalcoatl;  with Viscount on his maternal side – whose off-spring are proven to combine so well with the fine showy fleece types typified by Top Account and other Australian lines.

His cria are truly stand sublime – combining fabulous handle & brightness with incredible density with great conformation and good vigour.
